Hewlett-Packard Co. revealed on Monday that it has signed a new partnership deal with Blackberry maker, Research In Motion.

Canada’s RIM and California’s HP will offer HP CloudPrint for BlackBerry phones, which allows users of the devices to print electronic items like e-mails and Web pages on the nearest printer via the Internet.

In addition, the companies said HP is releasing software to “centrally monitor and manage” BlackBerrys, including BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 software.

The servers will come bundled with the BalckBerry Enterprise Server software as well as the option of HP's Operations Manager software.

HP has already announced server packages as well as services for the handsets.

Emerging models of communications and collaboration have created an opportunity for RIM and HP to provide service-based mobile solutions that deliver value to customers, said Ann Livermore, executive vice president of HP's technology solutions group.
