Bravo has renewed “Imposters” for Season 2!

Series creators Adam Brooks and Paul Adelstein announced the renewal news for the first time on Monday, April 17 during the show’s For Your Consideration Emmy panel, surprising series regulars Inbar Lavi (Maddie), Rob Heaps (Ezra Bloom), Parker Young (Richard), Marianne Rendón (Jules), Stephen Bishop (Patrick) and Brian Benben (Max). Heaps also took to Twitter to share the thrilling news, writing that they are “beyond excited” for another season of adventure.

According to Deadline, Season 1 of “Imposters” averaged more than 1.4 million total viewers per episode. Bravo called “Imposters” the fastest-growing new scripted show on ad-supported cable after it garnered a 23 percent increase in the key adults 18-49 demographic in the second half of the season.

The Hollywood Reporter added that when factoring in delayed viewing, the series ranks as a top 10 cable show among adults 18-49.

“Adam, Paul and our wonderful cast and crew are delivering a mad and merry show that makes us all proud,” said Jeff Wachtel, president and chief content officer at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment in a statement. “We’re excited that even more people will be able to join the party next season.”

“Imposters” Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2018 with production resuming in the fall.
