When his friend from Washington read the status, she thought of the possibility of this being a joke. But to be on the safe side, just minutes after the status was updated, she informed the police in Fort Wayne about it.

She provided dispatchers with a specific home and asked police to check the residence, Raquel Foster, spokeswoman for the Fort Wayne Police Department, told ABCNews.com. That is what prompted this whole investigation.

When the police reached the location, they found exactly what the woman had told them - three people suffering from gunshot wounds. All three were declared dead on scene.

The police suspect Heller shot the two before killing himself. They are investigating if Heller's fury was because his ex-girlfriend Erin Jehl was dumping him. Jehl, along with her friend Ryaan Tipton, had gone to Heller's house to collect her belongings after the breakup.

We did learn that the female shooting victim had a relationship with the shooter, Foster said. We also learned that that relationship ended days prior to this incident. The 19-year-old male shooting victim was a friend accompanying the 19-year-old female shooting victim to recover some of her personal belongings.

We have not received any information that he made threats to them or that there were any signs that this was impending, Foster added.
