The new Android 4.2.2 AOKP Build 4 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) is based on the AOSP (Android Open Source Project) release of Android 4.2.2. In order to flash the custom firmware users are required to have a custom ClockworkMod (CWM) recovery installed on their devices.
“The latest build of AOKP Android 4.2.2 ROM is not about new features, but the team has managed to successfully merge the previous AOKP code with the new Android 4.2.2,” a Team Android report said.
Before installing the custom Jelly Bean ROM on the Samsung Galaxy S2, users will have to connect the phone to the computer. To do that, USB drivers for the Galaxy S2 must be installed on the computer. Click here to download Samsung Galaxy S2 USB drivers.
