He tweeted, “Finally got unsigned code running on my 4S with the stuff that will go into the new jailbreak!”
This follows the post by Pod2g in his blog of a demo video of the iPhone 4S iOS 5.0.1 untethered realized by @DHowett, who is a famous iOS developer and a member of the Chronic Dev Team.
DHowett has showed the antenna gaps which separate an iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S also has Cydia installed in it.
The expectation is that if everything goes well, users should be able to get untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 in just a few days.
