The new iPad with the much-talked about Retina Display is finally here. The Retina display sports a 2048×1536 resolution, twice that of the iPad 2. To enjoy the Retina Display to the fullest, you need to download a number of apps, most of them free, from the App Store. The apps have also upgraded themselves for the new device and promise to bring the best out of your new iPad.

Here are the 10 apps that you must have to feel the new optimized Retina Display.

Angry Birds Seasons HD v2.3.0: As always, Angry Birds Seasons takes the addictive gameplay of the original to a whole new level. Starting From Halloween to Chinese New Year, the birds are celebrating different festive seasons around the world. With more than 260 levels which are amazingly complimented by regular free updates, these special episodes offer more challenging destruction of pigs and discovering golden eggs. Angry Birds Seasons HD is available for $1.99.

The new version 2.3.0 takes place during the Cherry Blossom Festival in the springtime which the Birds are celebrating with a trip to Japan. However, the pigs are not too far away and the Birds look forward to go against the green horde. The new version provides fifteen new intriguing levels in the shadow of Mount Fuji and there are two new bonus levels to enjoy.

Google Earth v6.2.0: Google Earth is one of those free-to-download apps that will complement your new iPad and provide rich graphics as you fly to far corners of the planet with just the swipe of a finger. You will also explore the same global satellite and aerial imagery that is available in the desktop version of Google Earth. The app also includes high-resolution imagery for over half of the world's population and a third of the world's land mass.

The new version has an Earth Gallery that will let you explore a vast list of maps, such as real-time earthquakes, hiking trails and city tours. Touring Support is also available that will load tours from the Earth Gallery or from mountain layer. The zooming option in the improved version now centers on gesture rather than center of screen. Tweetbot v2.1: Tweetbot is a full-featured iPad Twitter client with a lot of promise. Although the app costs $2.99, you will get to explore through its Multiple Timelines that will let you quickly switch between your lists as your main timeline. Along with native push notifications and smart gestures, you will use Twitter more efficiently. There is also support for multiple services like Read it Later, Instapaper and Cloudapp URL Shortening.

The version 2.1 utilizes the Retina Display for the new iPad. Moreover, the new tweets sound is now limited to mentions, DMs, and new tweets via pull-to-refresh. New bug fixes related to direct messages are also there and double-tapping on the timeline tab button takes you to last read tweet before going to the top.

Kindle v3.0.1: The free Kindle app is optimized for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, giving users the ability to read Kindle books, newspapers, magazines, textbooks and PDFs on a beautiful, easy-to-use interface. Get to access over 1,000,000 books in the Kindle Store along with hundreds of newspapers and magazines. The new updated version fixes the previous issue where some books failed to display in the library. This is a valuable app for people pursuing higher education in any specialized area. You can also choose from more than 500,000 free lectures, videos, books and other resources on thousands of subjects from Algebra to Zoology.

Plants vs. Zombies HD v1.0.5: One of the best games of last year and the winner of over 20 Game of the Year awards, Plants vs. Zombies is from the creators of Bejeweled, Peggle, Zuma and Bookworm. Defend your home against a host of invading fun-loving zombies with as many as 49 zombie-zapping plants that will slow down, confuse and destroy all 26 types of zombies before they reach your door.

The new version has managed to keep the game bug-free as much as possible so that you can totally concentrate on the game. The game will cost you $6.99.

MASS EFFECT INFILTRATOR v1.0.2: This is from the makers of the critically acclaimed Dead Space on iOS. The all-new, original Mass Effect storyline which is made exclusively for the mobile has been optimized for the new iPad with a revolutionary high-resolution gaming. Netflix v2.1.2: This free app lets you watch TV shows & movies streaming from Netflix almost instantly. It is also a part of your Netflix unlimited membership. Remote v2.3: You can now control iTunes and Apple TV using your iPad with this free app over your Wi-Fi network from anywhere in your home.
