iPad e-mail hacker arrested in California, pleads guilty
Daniel Spitler who was arrested in January for hacking AT&T’s website, admitted being a part of the iPad e-mail hacking conspiracy on Thursday.
He has hacked into computer servers and compromised email addresses and private information of several iPad users.
More than 100,000 email addresses of users including New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Mayor Rahm Emanuel of Chicago, and film producer Harvey Weinstein were compromised by him.
Spitler’s punishment may include five years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000. The court will come to a decision in September, Foxnews reported.
