Robert Buckley as Major
The synopsis for Season 3, episode 1 of “iZombie” reveals that Major (Robert Buckley) gets a job at the one and only place that will hire him. The CW

Major (Robert Buckley) lands a new job in Season 3, episode 1 of “iZombie.”

According to the synopsis for the season premiere, Major still finds himself a pariah even after he was exonerated for the crimes he committed as the Chaos Killer. Given his history as a zombie hunter for Max Rager, Major grabs the opportunity when he is offered a job at the one and only place that will hire him.

The episode synopsis doesn’t name Major’s new employer, but the summary for the whole Season 3, released by the CW in January, states that Major’s new job is with Fillmore Graves Enterprises, which has its own zombie army preparing for the day humans learn about the undead.

At the end of the Season 2 finale, Fillmore Graves Enterprises CEO Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage) asked Liv (Rose McIver) to join the company’s army and help them make Seattle the capital of zombie homeland. While her ex, Major, quickly finds acceptance in this army, it seems that Liv needs a longer time to come up with a decision.

During the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con in July, McIver said that “Liv is very conflicted” over whether she should join Vivian’s army and support her plan. “[Vivian’s plan is] a military operation,” McIver said. “This is a bunch of zombies she didn’t know about. ... It definitely has a sinister feel about it.”

“But at the same time Liv doesn’t have any female zombie friends. [So she] can’t be too picky,” McIver told TVLine in May.

Also in the season premiere, Blaine (David Anders) finds himself being accused of lying. Blaine appeared to have suffered a partial memory loss after he took Ravi’s (Rahul Kohli) untested zombie cure last season. So perhaps, someone from Team Z starts questioning whether Blaine has really had amnesia.

“iZombie” Season 3, episode 1, titled “Heaven Just Got a Little Smoother,” premieres on Tuesday, April 4 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
