The CW has set the release date for Season 4 of “iZombie.”

According to TVLine, the new season of the rom-com-zom-dram will premiere on Monday, Feb. 26 at 9 p.m. EST.

The announcement comes a couple of days after series star Rose McIver revealed on Twitter that they are set to start filming the Season 4 finale this week.

While plot details about the finale are being kept under wraps, it seems that the season-ender is going to be a tough one for Rahul Kohli’s Ravi. In a recent tweet, the actor revealed that he’s set to film one of his most challenging scenes on the show today.

Plot details about the premiere have also been scarce, but executive producer Rob Thomas revealed to Entertainment Weekly last June that new season will open with a montage of how the whole brain system works in the New Seattle. “In Season 4, episode 1, the first one back, because I want to illustrate it for the TV audience, we’re going to open with a montage of how the whole brain system works,” Thomas said, “starting with a guy dying, showing the brain harvesting, showing it going on a shipping container, showing it getting to Seattle, going to a brain processing plant, getting put into to a tube, going to a dispensary, going to a Zombie With a Brain card, and being consumed. I think it’s important that the audience knows how it’s supposed to work.”

While Chase Graves (Jason Dohring) has come up with a system that’s supposed to prevent the undead from harvesting brains from the living, Thomas told TVLine in July that New Seattle is going to experience shortage of brains at some point in the upcoming season. “There are barely enough brains coming in to feed Seattle zombies” so they are “going hungry,” Thomas said.

The Season 4 premiere will also reveal the fate of Ravi, who took his newly formulated zombie cure before Liv turned him into one of the undead at the end of the Season 3 finale. “I’m not saying he is a zombie,” Thomas told TVLine. “That will be revealed right away [in the Season 4 premiere]. We will not make the audience wait for that, and we will promise that [the cure] did not kill him. [Laughs] Ravi will be around for Season 4. The results will be fun. We’re actually pretty excited about what happens to Ravi.”
