“Jane the Virgin” Season 3 has added another guest star to its list: Kelly Rutherford.

The “Gossip Girl” alum will play a high-profile publisher who hires Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) as her second assistant, according to PEOPLE.

She will first appear in the sixth episode of Season 3. For now, she’s listed as a guest star, but depending on how fans warm up to her character, she could potentially become a recurring character.

There will be a lot of fresh faces next season in The CW dramedy. One of them is Justina Mechado, who will play a matchmaker named Darcy Factor. According to Deadline, she is “an all-business brassy, formidable and likes-to-be-in-control matchmaker whom Rogelio (Jaime Camil) goes to see about finding a woman.”

Darcy is very protective of her female clientele, so she enforces strict rules about her dating services. But with Rogelio being Rogelio, he breaks a couple of her rules right away. Darcy couldn’t resist the telenovela star and gives him another chance or two, until later coming up with an interesting proposition.

Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio will also be making cameos next season. The Cuban-American couple will play themselves in Season 3’s third episode, according to ET Online. They will be performing together with Rogelio Dela Vega, therefore adapting a “Latin telenovela for an American audience.”

It just so happens that the Estefans’ cameo will be in the episode directed by another well-known Latina - “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria, reported TV Line. Longoria’s former co-star, Ricardo Chavira, will also be a part of Season 3 since he will play Xo’s ex-boyfriend who dated her when he was still married. Chavira has been cast in a recurring role, so he won't disappear on Xo anytime soon.

“Jane the Virgin” Season 3 will premiere on Monday, Oct. 17, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
