Jennifer Aniston closes deal on Manhattan penthouse in pet dog's name

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly closed on a penthouse in Manhattan for $4.95 million in the name of her beloved pet dog.

Previously owned by celebrity stylist Sally Hershberger, the 1,200-square-foot apartment on the 18th floor of the building in New York City’s West Village area was bought at $950,000 less than the asking price of $5.9 million, according to The New York observer.

The one-bed, one-bath boats views of the Empire State building and features a 800-square-foot terrace that overlooks New York Harbor.

The Observer says the property was signed by the 42-year-old actress’ business manager Bruce Lagnese and purchased under Norman’s Nest Trust. Norman is Aniston’s beloved corgi-terrier mix.

There is no news yet about the star actually closing on the two 17th-floor units in the same building rumored to have attracted the star's interest.
