Always the bridesmaid, huh Jen? “Cake” actress Jennifer Aniston lost the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama to Julianne Moore for her role in “Still Alice.” Twitter quickly began to comment on Aniston’s loss, with some wondering if the former “Friends” star would ever win anything.

Aniston, 45, is known for playing the loveable girl-next-door. Recently, however, she has changed up some of her characters. For instance, in “Meet the Millers” she plays a stripper and in “Horrible Bosses” she plays a sex-crazed dentist.

But for "Cake," she took an even more drastic turn. The Internet Movie Database describes Aniston’s character, Claire Bennett, in the film: “Claire initiates a dubious relationship with a widower while confronting fantastical hallucinations of his dead wife.”
