Jennifer Lawrence announced Tuesday that she is giving fans the opportunity to drink wine with her by donating money to anti-political corruption group Represent.Us, of which she is a board member. Lawrence is partnering with online fundraising platform Omaze to make it all possible.

Lawrence, 27, shared the news of the contest on her Facebook page Tuesday, saying, "For my birthday this year, I'm inviting you to join me for a picnic in wine country."

The "Passengers" star was featured in a promotional video for the contest, which was published to Omaze's YouTube page as well as Lawrence's Facebook page.

"You wanna help stop political corruption in America and drink a ton of wine?" she asked in the video. "Well, you've come to the right video. I'm here to give you and a guest a chance to come wine tasting with me in California to benefit Represent.Us."

How can fans participate in the contest? Interested parties can head to Omaze's website to take advantage of its several methods of entry. There are a number of different entry packages, which range from 100 to 50,000 entries.

Participants don't have to be 21 years old to enter, which will accommodate Lawrence's younger fans. However, winners 13 years and older will be required to bring a guardian as their guest. Non-alcoholic beverages will be given to minors and to individuals who don't consume alcohol.

Winners will be flown out to Wine Country in Northern California, where they will partake in a "picnic among the vines and play lawn games at the vineyard," according to the contest's website. The winner will also be able to stay in a four-star hotel.

"It'll be great," Lawrence says. "We'll hang out, drink some wine, talk politics, drink some more wine, maybe we'll call your ex, maybe we'll call my ex — who knows? The point is we'll have a lot of fun."

Fans have 41 days to participate before the campaign ends, and each entry begins at $10.

"Every entry supports Represent.Us. — a grassroots campaign that brings together people from across the political spectrum to pass anti-corruption laws and fix our broken elections," Lawrence said.

Ryan Cummins, CEO and co-founder of Omaze, issued a statement to International Business Times Wednesday about Lawrence's collaboration with Omaze.

"When I first met the founder of Represent.Us, Josh Silver, I was immediately inspired by the nonpartisan movement he's built to pass anti-corruption laws in America," Cummins told IBT. "Then, when Jennifer expressed her passion for the cause, we saw an opportunity to create tremendous impact together given the success of Jennifer's last campaign with Omaze."

Cummins added, "It's an honor for Omaze to partner now with both Jennifer and Represent.Us, and what more fun way to do so than by offering fans the once-in-a-lifetime experience of going wine tasting with Ms. Lawrence."

Lawrence has been very vocal about her political stance in the past. Following the violence that hit Charlottesville, Virginia, the actress took to her official Facebook page to comment on the events.

"These are the faces of hate. Look closely and post anyone you find. You can't hide with the internet you pathetic cowards!" she said.

The "American Hustle" actress also shared a quote on Facebook Wednesday made famous by Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel. The quote read: "I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim."
