Now this is news worth singing about! Joe Jonas and Ciara recently revealed that in addition to starring in the new NBC variety series “I Can Do That,” which is set to premiere Tuesday, May 26, the artists will also be releasing some new tunes for fans to rock out to -- and soon!

“Well, I can just say right now, my current song, ‘I Bet,’ is out. And thank God it’s going along very well,” the 29-year-old songstress revealed to reporters, adding that Jonas had actually joined her on the remix version of the song. The alternate version can be heard on the Deluxe Version of Ciara’s sixth studio album titled “Jackie.”

The 25-year-old musical heartthrob from New Jersey explained how his involvement in “I Bet” came about. According to the former Jonas Brother member, he and Ciara were goofing around, singing the tune backstage while filming the forthcoming series and before they knew it, their off-the-cuff duet eventually developed into a remix of the song.

“I love that song and I was a fan of [‘I Bet’] already,” he gushed, revealing that he was “thrilled” to have been given the opportunity to collaborate with Ciara.

But the “Goodies” singer divulged that she’s not finished whipping up new beats! According to Ciara, she has big plans for the future. “Definitely for me, there will be a new song coming soon. And I can just say, get ready to dance, dance, dance away!” she teased.

The “Just In Love” crooner bolstered her statement, promising fans that Ciara’s new tunes will have you up and moving!

“I love all of her new music. It’s really awesome; it’s on repeat,” he said. And apparently the feeling is mutual. Ciara went gaga over Jonas’ upcoming project after she received a sneak peek at his forthcoming songs. “I just want to say I got to hear some of his music and it’s really amazing,” she admitted, getting us even more excited for what Jonas has in store for his fans.

The artist explained that he’s been “taking my time” when it comes to producing new music. “I’m just really writing and recording right now. And I have kind of been in and out of the studio, so hopefully you’ll hear something soon from me," he assured fans.

Fans can catch Joe Jonas and Ciara on NBC’s “I Can Do That,” which will air Tuesday, May 26, at 10 p.m. EDT.
