Bali-based jeweler, John Hardy, is venturing into retail in partnership with the Masari Group to inaugurate a lavish 22-square meter store in the prestigious Plaza Indonesia shopping mall in Jakarta.

Influenced by the scenic views of Bali, the boutique is designed to mirror the experience of the John Hardy workshop

Together with Masari Group, who has a wealth of experience as a successful retailer, we believe this is a great opportunity to showcase the world of John Hardy and better service our customers, the company said in a recent statement.

In a display of the jeweler's craftsmanship, Guy Bedarida, Creative Director and Head Designer, created a pair of striking, one-of-a-kind, hand-carved door handles.

Crafted from sterling silver and Indonesian black palm wood, the dragon handle on the store's interior grasps a silver ring, fully paved in black sapphires.

Given that all John Hardy jewelry is handmade by craftsmen at our workshop in Bali, we are proud to launch our first flagship store here in Indonesia, said Guy Bedarida.

In celebration of the boutique's opening, Bedarida also created two one-of-a-kind pieces: a sterling silver and 18k yellow gold Macan pendant set with blue and white sapphires, and a Naga cuff in sterling silver and 18k yellow gold with diamond pave and cabochon rubies.
