Actor and comedian Jon Lovitz verbally berated President Barack Obama on his podcast the ABC's of SNL complaining about the high taxes he is forced to pay and the apparent attack on the wealthy by the president.

The former Saturday Night Live and The Critic star used his podcast, which was co-hosted by filmmaker Kevin Smith, to vent his frustrations about his taxes and how Obama attacks the wealthy, he said. The podcast was recorded at his club, the Jon Lovitz Podcast Theatre, where a crowd listens live.

During his tirade, Lovitz said he was a Democrat and voted for Obama, but was very tired of being attacked for his wealth

This whole thing with Obama saying the rich don't pay their taxes is f------ bullshit, said Lovitz. And I voted for the guy, and I'm a Democrat. What a f----ing a-------. The rich don't pay their taxes?

Lovitz said Obama himself is a is the perfect example of someone who had nothing and worked his way up through society.

He's amazing, he said. He had nothing. He had no father. He was, you know, of mixed race which is a burden in the United, don't kid yourself, you know, growing up like that, and no money, and the guy ends up being at Harvard. He's the president of the United States. And now he's like, f--- me!

Lovitz said he worked extremely hard to make it in his industry and that paying 50 percent of his earnings is not fair.

You have to work you're a-- off, he said. If I make a dollar and out of every dollar I'm taxed at 50, half, at 50 cents, I have to give, isn't that like enough?

Lovitz said many complain that the wealthy get tax breaks and deductions, but everyone in this room has the same deductions, but they just don't know about it.

Throughout the segment, Lovitz received laughs from the crowd, but Kevin Smith interjected to try to calm him down.

Stop yelling at the 99 percent, Smith said.

Smith, for his part, said he did not mind paying taxes because he still felt he was wealthy.

Lovitz isn't the only SNL alum to criticize Obama. Victoria Jackson, who has become a dedicated Tea Party activist since her days on the NBC program from 1986 to 1992, has called the president a communist and even claimed GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney was a socialist at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February.
