"The Daily Show" is known for taking all comers. Give Jon Stewart your politicians, rappers, and George Carlin's, and watch him turn that motley crue into smart, engaging television.

One guest in particular, though, is persona non grata on Stewart's show.

According to the New York Daily News, Stewart has banned Hugh Grant from ever appearing on his show again after the British actor had a diva-like moment backstage of the show in 2009.

"He's giving everyone s--- the whole time, and he's a big pain in the a--," Stewart said, adding that Grant was his least favorite guest ever to have appeared beside him.

"And we've had dictators on the show," said Stewart, adding fuel to the fire.

Stewart disclosed his antipathy for Grant during an on-stage conversation with Comedy Central stablemate and friend Stephen Colbert during an event in New Jersey to raise money for the a film festival there.

Grant was on Stewart's show to promote his 2009 film "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" The British star took umbrage with the clip of the movie shown on "The Daily Show."

"What is that clip? It's a terrible clip,” Grant allegedly said. Stewart did not respond so saccharinely.

"Well, then make a better f------ movie,” the Comedy Central host replied.
