We've learned to keep expectations of our child stars low, but Jonathan Taylor Thomas reminds us that hope can spring eternal even as the fountain of youth runs dry. The youngest star of 'Home Improvement' and the voice of Simba in 'The Lion King' not only looks like a million bucks after turning 30 on Sept. 8, but he's miraculously avoided the trappings of early stardom: Taylor Thomas does not appear to have a mugshot on file, and has attended not one but two Ivy League universities (Harvard and Columbia).

JTT has largely stayed out of the spotlight since in recent year -- he even skipped 2009 TV Land Awards, though his Home Improvement cast mates were there -- but the TV family was reuinted again this summer to shoot Entertainment Weekly's Reunion Issue, out in October.

It was awesome, Jonathan's TV mom Patricia Richardson told EW. You know where you can pick up and it feels like no time has passed at all? And at the same time you look at them and say, 'How can you possibly be that age because that makes me way old!'
