Josh Hutcherson just can’t keep complimenting his “The Hunger Games” co-star, actress Jennifer Lawrence.

For the third time in recent months, the 21-year-old actor, who portrays Lawrence’s character Katniss Everdeen on-screen love interest Peeta Mellark in the films, spoke publicly about the actress. In a special collector’s edition interview with Us Weekly, the Kentucky native confessed his thoughts regarding his on-screen make-out sessions with the Oscar winner, calling the scenes in the saga’s second installment steamy.

“The kissing scenes are really hot!" said Hutcherson, who also dished a “Catching Fire” plot line for fans who didn’t read the "Hunger Games" books. “Peeta and Katniss' relationship is not all good, but you get to see more of it, which I like a lot," he said.

Hutcherson last spoke out regarding his 23-year-old, two-time co-star in an interview with Glamour earlier this month. Asked about his close off-screen friendship with Lawrence and if he thinks it’s possible for a man and a woman to be “just friends,” Huchterson replied, “Absolutely, but there’s often a natural inclination to want more.” While the “Catching Fire” star is confirmed to currently be dating “Paradise Lost” actress Claudia Traisac, he did confess that he prefers to, and commonly dates his co-stars.

“As far as I’m concerned, you’re both actors, you understand each other’s lifestyle,” he said. “It’s a very natural thing to have happen.”

The first time Hutcherson discussed filming kissing scenes with Lawrence “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” in June, he made headlines for claiming he has a “natural stirring” in his body when acting with Lawrence on-screen. “If you’re in the moment and you’re in the scene, then whatever naturally happens is what’s supposed to happen,” he said.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is to be released in theaters on Nov. 22. The cast was last spotted filming the series' third film, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,” in Atlanta in September.
