Judge Judy, who rules the courtroom with an iron fist, was rushed to the hospital after she reported of not feeling well while filming an episode at the KTLA Studios in Hollywood. Speaking to TMZ from her hospital bed, the 68-year-old said she felt that she just needed a day to chill, raising the possibility of her being overworked.

Quoting a studio insider, RadarOnline.com reported Judge Sheindlin was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Wednesday morning after she suddenly started saying things that didn't make sense. She was reportedly only two cases deep into her taping when her bizarre behavior prompted her to stop and have a crew member call 911.

She said, 'I need to stop, I'm not feeling well.'

She said couple of sentences that didn't have anything to do with the case and then she stopped speaking and said she wasn't feeling well, the source was quoted as saying.

The celeb judge's rep, Gary Rosen, revealed to several media outlets that she would be at the hospital for an overnight observation.

The online celeb gossip site, TMZ, which was among the other outlets that reported on Judge Judy's sudden health issue, stated that the paramedics were called after she complaining of intestinal discomfort.

The judge was feeling nauseous and had some intestinal discomfort and decided to go to the hospital to get it checked out, Rosen had also told RadarOnline.com and RumorFix.

Calling TMZ's Harvey Levin from her hospital bed, Judge Judy reportedly said, I'm just exhausted, and my body was telling me it needed a day to chill.

I was feeling funky this morning ... funky enough that I knew someone should give a gander over what I got.

I'm really fine. I wanted to go back to work this afternoon.

I'm exhausted. I'm just tired. A lot of things just zoned together, including the bad news of the world.

At my age, I know my body. My body is fine.
