‘Jumanji’ Actor Dwayne Johnson Receives Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star [PHOTOS]

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the 2,624th actor to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The milestone comes just a day after it was announced that Johnson and his girlfriend Lauren Hashian are expecting their second child together.

On Wednesday, the “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” actor was honored and presented with his very own star on the Walk of Fame by the committee behind the sidewalk for immortalized personalities in the showbiz industry.

Like all the other actors before him, Johnson was not only presented with his own star on the sidewalk in Hollywood Boulevard, but also a bronze star plaque in honor of his contributions to the entertainment industry.

Noticeably present at the awarding ceremony was The Rock’s girlfriend and their daughter Jasmine Lia, who is turning 2, this coming Saturday, Dec. 16. The couple and their little girl even grabbed the chance to pose for the camera in front of Johnson’s star.

During Johnson’s speech, he lifted his daughter to make a point about why he’s been working so hard throughout his acting career. “I’m going to show you what it all means,” he said as he picked up Jasmine in his arms. “The hard work, the work you put in with your own two hands … it all comes down to this.”

“It all comes down to your family, and working hard to love and protect and do everything you can to make your family and the ones you love, their lives better,” Johnson added, as quoted by People.

This is a double celebration for the family of three, who will soon be joined by another member. Early this week, Johnson announced via Instagram that he and his girlfriend are pregnant with their second baby girl.

“Our Jasmine Lia would like to make a big announcement — IT’S A GIRL,” he wrote as caption to a photo of his daughter. “@laurenshian and I are boundlessly grateful for this blessing as this spring we’ll welcome our second baby. Plus, Jazzy is excited to boss around and protect her lil’ sis. And once again, big daddy is completely surrounded by beautiful estrogen and loving powerful female mana.”

This will be the third child for Johnson, who is already the father of 16-year-old Simone Garcia Johnson — his daughter with ex-wife, Dany Garcia, according to CNN.
