Chris Pratt is all set to woo his fans in the fourth installment of the “Jurassic Park” series: “Jurassic World” is set to release on June 12. However, success did not come easy to him and there were days when actors and producers just ignored him as his wife Anna Faris had a much more successful career. Pratt recently spoke with GQ about how he managed to stand in the shadow of Faris.

“I've had those moments, where I was like the guy holding the purse at events and people just looked right through me. And, you know, actors come up and just blatantly hit on my wife in front of me and don't even look at me,” he revealed about his early days in the industry.

He also spoke about his wife’s career and had praise for the kind of work she has done in the entertainment industry. “She's done really amazing things -- she's always going to be known for really funny and great work, critically acclaimed work and successful stuff,” he added.

Pratt married Faris in 2009. They first met in 2007 on the set of “Take Me Home Tonight” and walked the aisle two years later in Bali. They also have a son together. He was born in 2012.

For Pratt, his son is the most important thing in his life and he told the magazine that he has to “prove” to his son that he matters more to his dad than show business does. Pratt is reportedly ready to bypass a fat paycheck in favor of going camping with his son.

Meanwhile, on the career front, Pratt will be seen playing Owen the Velociraptor trainer in the “Jurassic World.” There is much expectation that the film might prove as successful as Pratt’s previous blockbuster, “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Moreover, Pratt will also be seen in the remake of American classic “The Magnificent Seven.” He will play one of the gunslingers who will save people from rampaging bandits.
