Life just got a little better for diehard fans of the Justice League following the announcement that a new themed attraction is coming to Great Adventure parks. The amusement park also known as Six Flags Great Adventure and Magic Mountain has revealed its 2017 line up of new roller coasters, dark rides and water slides at its 13 locations, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The lineup includes four roller coasters, three dark rides, four thrill rides and three water attractions. The article, published Thursday, announced that Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, all plan to have the 3-D interactive dark rides up and running by 2017.

One of these attractions will be Justice League: Battle for Metropolis 3-D. The dark ride will be an ode to the crime fighting DC Comic superheroes, featuring motion-platform vehicles, animatronic figures and laser-gun game play. Riders will get the opportunity to help Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern as they battle enemies like the Joker, Lex Luthor and other comic book villains.

Great Adventure initially introduced the Justice League attractions in 2015 to Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags St. Louis, Six Flags Great America and Six Flags Mexico. The Asbury Park Press reported that the president of the parks, Neal Thurman, said, “This ride is a game-changer and without question one of the most innovative, interactive and exciting attractions we have ever undertaken.”

The Joker will also have his own attraction — a fourth-dimension roller coaster at three Six Flags parks. In 2017, guests at Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags New England (Massachusetts) and Six Flags Great America (Illinois) will be able to ride the 4-D coaster. The ride will feature seats that spin forward and backward as the train travels along a zigzagging track with rippling straightaways and free-fall drops.

Those hoping to experience the new attractions should know that season passes to the parks for 2017 are on sale now.
