Kanye West, who recently assaulted a photographer outside Los Angeles International Airport, wants to take his baby daughter, North West, out in public, but has been reluctant to do so fearing paparazzi harassment, reports said.

Quoting a source close to the rapper, HollywoodLife reported that West feels the media would ruin the father-daughter moment by trailing them for photographs.

“He wants to be outside with his little girl, not just in some house or in the backyard of a mansion behind gates,” the source said. “He wants her to see the world, put her in a stroller and walk around with her. But he can’t. The cameras will be all over him, depriving him of these precious moments he could be having with his daughter.”

The source added that West is frustrated with the constant media attention, and all he wants to do is spend quality time with girlfriend Kim Kardashian and the baby.

“He feels like a caged tiger,” the source said. “He’s p-----d he can’t just live in peace ...without all the attention.”

West has been miffed with paparazzi for a while now, and he had even issued a warning asking them to stay away from him. But, on Friday, a paparazzo tried to engage West while at the Los Angeles International Airport, resulting in an altercation.

Following the incident, the photographer has pressed for a felony charge, and the case is now being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division, the Los Angeles Times reported. The division is usually entrusted with the task of investigating high profile murders, robberies and sexual assaults, the report said.
