Kanye West has left fans to wait for June 18 after posting a mysterious tweet on Thursday.

The rapper, who rarely uses Twitter and only follows girlfriend Kim Kardashian, deleted all previous tweets from his account, and wrote simply, “June Eighteen.” The tweet has been retweeted by his followers more than 30,000 times.

It is unclear what the date symbolizes. As the 35-year-old Chicago native has been busy in Paris working on new music, the day could be the planned release date for a new single or album.

Or, it could be Kardashian’s real due date. According to New York Post’s Page Six, West’s pregnant girlfriend told friends while at a baby shower for stylist Monica Rose that she was due in mid-June and not July as previously reported.

His 9.4 million followers are left to wait and find out the true meaning of the date.

Meanwhile, Kardashian and her beau have revealed that ahead of their first child’s birth, they would prefer their friends send donations to Lurie’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago, West’s hometown, instead of sending the couple baby gifts.

A rep for the hospital offered their thanks in a statement, saying, "Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital.

"Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund, which will help care for the most critically ill babies and their families."
