Kate Middleton is ready to have her third child with Prince William just four months after giving birth to Princess Charlotte, a source close to the British royal family told Hollywood Life. The comments come amid rumors that the Duchess of Cambridge is already in the early stages of her third pregnancy.

The insider claims that the 33-year-old cannot wait to have another child and wants two more siblings for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

“Kate has only just had her second baby, but she’s already thinking about number three! She definitely wants a third baby by the time she’s 35. That way she can have even more before she’s 40,” the source told Hollywood Life. “Kate grew up with two siblings, so she likes the idea of having another soon. But to be honest, she doesn’t want to stop there and has talked about having 4 children before she’s all done.”

According to some reports, Kate is also suffering from postpartum depression after giving birth to Princess Charlotte in May that has led her to skip royal duties.

However, Star Magazine had linked Kate’s absence from gatherings to her third pregnancy, saying that “she’s not taking any chances.”

Last month, Kate was supposed to join William at the All Saints Church in Thurlestone, South Devon, for the wedding of socialite Daisy Dickson and estate agent Bear Maclean. However, William, who is an old friend of the groom, turned up only with sister-in-law Pippa Middleton.

“William put his foot down and decided her heath must not be put at risk. So Kate rested at home and spent her day relaxing and playing with George and Charlotte,” a source told Star Magazine, according to Hollywood Life. “Pippa was delighted to escort William to the wedding. Kate knows she can always rely on her sister and doesn’t hesitate to call for her assistance.”

However, Gossip Cop, which cited a royal source, said that rumors of Kate’s pregnancy were false, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were not having a third child any time soon.

A few months back, William had hinted that he and Kate might add another member to their growing family.

“We’ve only just had the second one. You never know what is going to happen in the future,” William said in July. He also spoke about Kate’s “amazing” mothering skills and described their daughter Princess Charlotte as “a little joy from heaven.”
