Rumors about Kate Middleton’s pregnancy have started making the rounds just four months after the birth of Princess Charlotte. According to a recent report, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge will welcome their third child soon.

“She’s in the early stages of pregnancy with baby number 3,” a source revealed to Star Magazine, according to Hollywood Life. “She’s not taking any chances,” the source reportedly said while talking about Kate’s absence from recent events.

“Kate has the Queen’s blessing to forgo royal duties for at least two months, until she overcomes the treat of sickness.”

Last month, Kate was to join Prince William at All Saints Church in Thurlestone, South Devon, for the wedding of socialite Daisy Dickson and estate agent Bear Maclean. However, Prince William, who is an old friend of the groom, turned up only with sister-in-law Pippa Middleton.

“William put his foot down and decided her heath must not be put at risk. So Kate rested at home and spent her day relaxing and playing with George and Charlotte,” the source reportedly said. “Pippa was delighted to escort William to the wedding. Kate knows she can always rely on her sister and doesn’t hesitate to call for her assistance.”

Hollywood Life reported, citing Star Magazine, that the third royal baby is “apparently due in late April or early May.”

In July, Prince William had hinted that he and Kate might add another member to their growing family.

“We’ve only just had the second one. You never know what is going to happen in the future,” Prince William said during a pool interview in July. He also spoke about Kate’s “amazing” mothering skills and described their daughter Princess Charlotte as “a little joy from heaven.”

However, amid rumors of a third baby, reports surfaced Tuesday that several members of Britain’s royal family, including Kate and Prince William along with their two children, Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, will be venturing outside the United Kingdom for an upcoming royal tour.

While the palace has yet to confirm the family’s trip, the Daily Mail reported that the family of four will be heading to the Caribbean sometime in February or March. According to the report, the family is considering visits to the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands.

Kate and William, both 33, are also reportedly scheduled to attend a state banquet at Buckingham Palace in October, which will take place in honor of visiting guests Chinese President Xi Jinping and wife Peng Liyuan.
