Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, also known as Kate, attended the 'BAFTA Brits to Watch' event on Saturday with husband Prince William in downtown Los Angeles where they helped promote forty-two emerging British individuals selected by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

William, formally known as His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge, is BAFTA's President and was appointed to the role in 2010.

The event took place at the Belasco Theater.

Among the guests were Cat Deely, Berry Gordy, Gordon Ramsey, Dominic Cooper, James Gandolfini, Jennifer Garner, Piers Morgan, Harvey Weinstein, Rob Marshall, Derek Hough, Nigel Lythgoe, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Moss, Jason Bateman, Jessica Chastain, Dana Delaney, Tom Hanks, Jack Black, Mary Louise Parker, Stephen Fry, Sir Howard Stringer, Jonah Hill, Talulah Riley, Maria Bello, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Les Moonves, Julie Chen, Anne Sweeney, Judd Apatow, Katie Sole, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
