Kate Middleton will not be Meghan Markle's bridesmaid when the latter marry Prince Harry.

There are rumors that the Duchess of Cambridge might be the "Suits" star's bridesmaid or matron of honor when the actress walks down the aisle. But Marlene Koenig, a royal expert and author doesn't think that it is possible. In fact, fans might not see Middleton in the bridal party because the royal mom barely knows the bride-to-be.

"For another, she is the future queen consort when William becomes king after his father, and would unlikely be an attending person to another royal bride," Koenig told Town & Country.

"But it's unlikely for Catherine to do this," Koenig added. "She was not a matron of honor, even at her sister's wedding."

In addition, Middleton will likely stay away from the spotlight during Prince Harry and Markle's wedding. Just the way she did when Pippa Middleton ties the knot with James Matthews in May. The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly declined the honor so she would not overshadow the bride.

"It's a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well?" Judy Wade, a veteran royal author told People. "But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible."

While Middleton might not be part of Prince Harry and Markle's entourage, her children will likely have their roles in the next royal wedding. "It is very likely that Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge will be a page boy and a bridesmaid," Koenig added. "Anyone else is a guess."

The two royal babies have the same roles on their aunt Pippa's wedding. Middleton was reportedly excited and worried about her babies’ roles.

"[Kate] said that they were all really looking forward to her sister’s wedding at the weekend, but she was a bit worried about how her children might behave," Andrew Bates said. "She said she was hopeful that they would be good, but you never know at that age."
