Kate Middleton recently revealed that she has not yet watched “Coco.”

The Duchess of Cambridge was at the 2018 BAFTA Awards on Sunday, where she had a chat with Lee Unkrich. During their conversation, Middleton admitted that she’s desperate to watch the Disney animation.

“Lots of girlfriends have been to see it with their kiddies and been really impressed with it. The kids are just getting into films now, George is four and a half. ‘Paddington’ is definitely up there, and so is ‘Coco,’” she said.

Middleton also said that her children’s interest in movies came from Prince William, who also loves watching movies. “It’s great to have that father and son thing,” Middleton said.

However, the duchess did not reveal why she and her two kids have not yet watched “Coco.” The film was released in the United Kingdom on Jan. 19. It’s possible that Middleton’s official engagements, as well as her third pregnancy, have made it impossible for her to watch the movie in the cinema.

Meanwhile, Middleton was recently criticized at the awards show after she was seen wearing a green dress, and not a black dress. Prior to the event, an unofficial letter requesting guests to wear an all-black ensemble was released. This was an attempt to show support to the MeToo and Time’s Up movements.

But even though some people were not happy with Middleton’s decision to not wear black, it is important to note that members of the royal family do not involve themselves in anything too political.

Middleton also wore a black belt over her dress, which could have been her way of saying that the she supports the movements, but needs to stay true to her role as a royal.

One day after the BAFTAs, Middleton donned a black and white dress to a fashion event at the Buckingham Palace during London Fashion Week. She and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, organized the party on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II.
