Singer Mariah Carey has replaced model Kate Upton as the face of “Game Of War: Fire Age.” Commercials for the game featuring a cleavage-revealing Upton were one of the main reasons for its huge success.

But the sexy model does not have any grudges against Carey for replacing her. The sultry 23-year-old actress actually has given her approval for the 45-year-old singer. “I think she's gonna be awesome," Upton told TMZ at Los Angeles International Airport last week. The model-actress looked beautiful in a white, figure-hugging lacy top and white denims. Asked if she thought that Carey was “too old” to be the face of the immensely popular game, she did not answer.

Upton is currently shooting a comedy movie, “The Layover,” in Canada. Alexandra Daddario and William H. Macy also star in the movie about two friends who go on a road trip, according to IMDb. They want to get away from all their problems but encounter more woes when their plane gets rerouted because of a hurricane warning. The movie is expected to release in January.

The film is Upton's follow-up to last year's “The Other Woman,” where she starred alongside Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. She is one of the highest-paid models in the world, with many brand endorsements. She is also the face of makeup brand Bobbi Brown. Upton started dating Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander in late 2011 and has been in an on-and-off relationship with him.

According to TMZ, the choice of the pop icon over Upton “has something to do with music.” Carey has earlier represented many brands including AT&T, Pepsi and Jenny Craig. Meanwhile, the songstress is in the news for her relationship with Australian billionaire James Packer. The two were recently spotted getting cosy with each other on vacation in Capri. The two looked “very happy, relaxed, at ease in each other's company," a witness told E! News.
