Katy Perry and Russell Brand's marriage might be on shaky ground. The couple, who have been married since October 2010, was seen apart during the Christmas holidays this year.

They had a massive fight, an insider told Us Weekly. She was like, 'F--k you. I'm going to do my own thing.' Russell replied, 'Fine, f--k you too.'

Although Perry had initially made plans to spend the holidays with her husband in London on Dec. 25, Perry was reportedly seen swimming in the Pacific Ocean off Kauai without her wedding ring and with friends. Brand, on the other hand, spent Christmas in Cornwall with a friend.

The split may come soon, the source told Us Weekly. But they are both so dramatic and volatile, the relationship could become great again.

There seem to be a number of problems between the pop icon, 27, and her British husband, 36.

Katy doesn't think Russell respects her parents' Christian beliefs or her friends, the source told Us Weekly on one of the many problems between the pair.

The couple was rumored to be seeking a divorce in November, but the pair publicly denied that there was trouble in marriage paradise.

They haven't split up just yet, but things are not good, the source told Us Weekly. The fighting is getting worse.

Still, the couple continues to deny divorce rumors.

There is always rumors, aren't there? Brand asked Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show earlier this month. In the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology, which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy ... I've treated the whole Internet now like it's a wicked little liar ... I am really happily married.
