The members of Kings of Leon didn't cancel the rest of their U.S. tour because they are breaking up but allow frontman Caleb Followill to heal.

Caleb told a TMZ cameraman that he has been having problem with his voice.

"I'm just trying to get better," he said while walking with his wife in New York.

Kings of Leon cancelled the tour on Monday after a poor performance in Dallas where Caleb complained about the heat, before leaving the stage.

I'm gonna go backstage and I'm gonna vomit," Caleb told the crowd at the Gexa Energy Pavilion, as reported by MTV. "I'm gonna drink a beer and I'm gonna come back out and play three more songs."

When Followill did not return, his members of the band told a booing crowd that the show was over.

The band spokesman issued a statement noting that Caleb is "suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion."

"The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break," the spokesman said.
