Kristen Wiig is leaving SNL, after seven zany years creating some of the shows most memorable recurring characters.

Wiig ended her Saturday Night Live career this weekend with one of the show's more-memborable sendoffs: A dance with Mick Jagger and fellow cast members while Arcade Fire serenaded the collective. A teary Wiig danced through She's Like A Rainbow with fellow writers and finally the show's creator Lorne Michaels.

The writing for Wiig's SNL stint was on the wall after Bridesmaids became the hit comedy of the 2011 summer, earning her an Oscar nomination for best original screenplay.

This is my seventh year, and that's my family, she told Alec Baldwin in his podcast last month. It's my heart. It's New York to me.
