A new YouTube video posted over the weekend of a grandpa doing Kung Fu with nunchucks in an empty parking lot has gone viral with more than 7 million views thanks to its hilarious commentary.

The video titled “Kung Fu Grandpa in the Food Lion parking lot!” shows an older gentleman alone in a parking lot near Richmond, Va., wielding nunchucks while doing Kung Fu moves. While that imagery is funny in and of itself, a voice recording the scene from behind a cellphone is what stole the show and provoked mass laughter across YouTube this weekend.

According to local Virginia NBC news affiliate WWBT, the man behind the video is Rev. Aamon Miller, who simply goes by aamon17 on YouTube.

"Yeah, what y'all know about getting your Kung Fu nunchuck panda on in the parking lot of the local Food Lion? Get it, my man!” Miller says in the video’s commentary. "I'm out here practicing, getting ready for Easter Sunday. Jesus is gonna rise up. I'm gonna whoop the devil, right out here in the parking lot."

"That's right," Miller continues. "I'm 58-63-years-old out here beside my pick truck at Food Lion, and I will whip a fool upside his head. One man, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, two nunchucks.”

Miller is now enjoying his newfound fame thanks to the video, which has received more than 7 million views since it was uploaded on Friday.

"I'm just a regular person who has been blessed with the gift of gab," Miller told WWBT. "I figured if I tell somebody this, they are not going to believe me. So I just need to record it. I pulled up my cell phone. Kung Fu Grandpa. That was the first thing that came to my head."

"Honestly, I'm thinking it's the zombie apocalypse," Miller continued. "It's the end of the world. This man is a soldier. He is ready to go and didn't nobody give me a memo."

However, Miller isn’t the only one who will profit in Internet fame for this video. After about 6 million views, the family of the mysterious Kung Fu Grandpa contacted Miller.

"And come to find out the reason he was doing kung fu in the parking lot is that he goes shopping with his girlfriend," Miller told the station. "But he hates to shop, and so while she is in the store shopping he gets out his nunchucks in the parking lot of whatever store they are at all over Richmond."

WWBT said the elusive Kung Fu Grandpa is “not ready to talk on camera” but has started an email for his fan mail at kungfugrandpa@gmail.com. However, don’t expect Miller to profit from licensing, since his tagline is already taken.

"There is an actual game called Kung Fu Grandpa,” he said. “So I won't be able to market that, because I don't want anybody coming after me with nunchucks to sue me."

But this minor hurdle in branding hasn’t stopped YouTube users from consuming the video. As the page views rack up, so do comments from users who love Miller’s commentary. One even wrote: "I can't stop watching this and cracking up ... the commentary is hilarious."
