Don Johnson has landed a guest starring role on the new Fox comedy “LA to Vegas.”

According to Variety, Johnson will appear as Jack Silver, CEO of Jackpot Airlines, in Season 1, episode 11, which is set to air in April.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Captain Dave Pratman (Dylan McDermott) will cross paths with Jack, who is described as an arrogant and charming tycoon whose motto is to “underthink it.”

Johnson is best known for his role as James “Sonny” Crockett on NBC’s “Miami Vice.” He also played the eponymous lead role on the CBS cop series “Nash Bridges.” The 68-year-old Golden Globe-winning actor most recently appeared on the British sitcom “Sick Note” and on Netflix’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events.”

In addition to his upcoming stint on “LA to Vegas,” Johnson will also be seen next in the comedy “Book Club” and in the action thriller “Dragged Across Concrete.” Both films are expected to be released sometime this year.

Aside from Johnson, “Shameless” actor Dermot Mulroney is also set to guest star on “LA to Vegas.” As announced by The Hollywood Reporter last month, Mulroney will appear in Season 1, episode 3 as Captain Steve, a charismatic pilot with better international routes and an attitude that grinds on McDermott’s Dave.

Although McDermott and Mulroney have been the subjects of a lot of gags due to their similar names and vague resemblance, this will be the first time the two actors will share screen time together.

“LA to Vegas” premiered on Fox last Tuesday night, and according to TVLine, the show enjoyed a solid debut, averaging a 1.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers. In addition to McDermott, the show’s main cast also includes Kim Matula as flight attendant Ronnie Messing, Ed Weeks as Economics professor Colin, Nathan Lee Graham as flight attendant Bernard Chasser, Shawn Kavanaugh as UCLA frat boy Paul, Olivia Macklin as professional stripper Nicole, and Peter Stormare as gambler Artem.
