To the joy of Little Monsters around the world, Lady Gaga has shared the details of her new album "ARTPOP."

Through a post on her Facebook page, the singer announced the first single from the project will be released on August 19.

"ARTPOP" will then released on Nov. 11, along with an app to coincide with the album.

The app is described in the statement as "a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology with a new interactive worldwide community."

With her new album, Gaga looks to present a "rage of electronic passion and fury" as well as "celebration of obsession."

In preparation for the new project, she recently removed both her Twitter profile picture and header image. The singer's bio now simply reads: "This interface has been shutdown temporarily. Please check back for updates."

It is rumored that Gaga will be making her onstage return at the 2013 iTunes Festival in London. According to The Sun, the Haus of Gaga team have spent close to £500,000 ($759,000) on the show's production.

This would be her first major performance since her emergency hip surgery earlier this year.

The procedure resulted in Gaga canceling the remaining dates on her "Born This Way Ball" world tour. This led to the refunding of around 200,000 tickets, worth $25 million in gross ticket sales, reports Billboard.
