Lady Gaga is still mourning the death of her best friend, Sonja Durham.

On Saturday, Gaga took to Instagram and shared a rare photo with her boyfriend, Christian Carino. In the caption, the "Million Reasons" singer paid tribute to her late friend, Durham, and expressed her gratitude to Carino for giving her support as she mourns her loss.

"After rollin around on the couch feeling sad with the help of some of my #grigiogirls and a very special someone I managed to dress up and feel better in a beautiful pink sequined dress generously gifted to me from @oscardelarenta," Gaga wrote in the caption. "Sonja would want us to celebrate her Birthday. So we are. Dressed in Pink and handing out pink chocolate kisses for #breastcancerawareness."

This is not the first time that Gaga has paid tribute to Durham. Her documentary film, "Gaga: Five Foot Two," included a dedication for her best friend. In addition, the film helmed by Chris Moukarbel also featured Gaga's life offstage, her goddaughter's baptism and her trip to Walmart to purchase her own CDs. It also covered her feud with Madonna and heartbreak following her breakup from ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney.

Earlier this month, Gaga gave her fans an update about her health after she canceled the European leg of her "Joanne" world tour. On Twitter, she wrote: "Gettin' stronger everyday for my #LittleMonsters can't wait to get back on stage & be w u at JoanneWorldTour #PawsUp."

Prior to her tweet, Gaga opened up about her physical and mental health struggles on Instagram. According to her, her condition was "difficult to explain" and that they were still trying to figure it out. The "Poker Face" singer added that she will tell her story when she is ready to help raise awareness about it. She also explained why she used the word "suffer" in her posts.

"I use the word 'suffer' not for pity, or attention, and have been disappointed to see people online suggest that I'm being dramatic, making this up, or playing the victim to get out of touring," Gaga wrote. "If you knew me, you would know this couldn't be further from the truth. I'm a fighter. I use the word suffer not only because trauma and chronic pain have changed my life, but because they are keeping me from living a normal life. They are also keeping me from what I love the most in the world: performing for my fans."

Gaga hopes to be back on stage soon and perform for her fans for the next 60 years or more.
