For Lady Gaga, it takes effort to be successful but most importantly, she considers it the proper way to treat her fans.

Integrity and hard work and being a loving person to the fans, Gaga said in a backstage interview with German TV show Wetten Dass over the weekend, when she revealed her key to being successful.

If you don't treat your fans well they are not gonna treat you well. They are like my children and I make music for them, Gaga added.

Lady Gaga became the first artist to have four #1 hits from a debut album; Paparazzi, Just Dance, Poker Face and Love Game, according to Interscope Records.

The pop singer has also mentioned repeatedly that her career had a turning point thanks to the gay community, which she says includes many “loyal” fans, according to MTV.
