Pop singer Lady Gaga walked the runway and performed on 'Germany's Next Top Model by Heidi Klum' on Thursday. Gaga was wearing the green wig she wore earlier in the week to the CFDA awards in New York City where she recieved the Fashion Icon Award. Gaga accepted the award with a teary-eyed speech.

Gaga is known for her outlandish outfits and contribution to fashion--especially to Alexander McQueen. Gaga is a huge fan of the late designer, frequently wearing his clothes, most famously in her music video for 'Bad Romance' off the album 'The Fame Monster.'

On Thursday, Gaga looked stunning as she walked the runway in a form-fitting, yet very see-through white mermaid dress. The dress was made out of what looks like interwoven, rippled tulle. For her performance, Gaga strutted on stage still in her green bob wig, wearing fishnet stockings with knee highs, stiletto boots, black panties and a cap-sleeve black T-shirt.

Lady Gaga's latest album, 'Born This Way,' came out on May 23 and sold over 1 million copies in its first week. The star was on the cover of last week's issue of Rolling Stone and currently has four singles out: 'Born This Way,' 'Judas,' 'Hair' and 'Edge of Glory. On the album Lady Gaga wrote a song for the late Alexander McQueen called 'Fashion of His Love.' Gaga also wrote a song called 'Fashion' which appeared on the soundtrack for the film 'Shopaholic.'
