Khloé Kardashian's brother Rob Kardashian is willing to donate one of his kidneys to Lamar Odom, who is “definitely” in need of a transplant as his kidneys are failing and his lungs are not functioning properly, according to a report. The Los Angeles Lakers player is reportedly on dialysis after his blood test results showed presence of cocaine, raising the possibility of prosecution.

A source told Daily Mail on Monday that Rob was prepared to undergo tests to find out if his kidney would be compatible for transplant. “Rob is willing to do whatever it takes to help Lamar recover. If that means donating a kidney then so be it, Rob has a big heart and he's willing to step up to help his friend,” the source said.

Last week, Rob also shared an Instagram post to support Odom, and captioned it “Praying nonstop for my Brother!!” The move was considered unusual because Rob is said to be a reclusive person, Daily Mail reported.

According to a Monday report by Us Weekly, Odom suffered a dozen strokes before he fell unconscious on Oct. 13 at the Love Ranch brothel in Las Vegas and may have suffered a brain injury. Odom had reportedly partied at the brothel for three days and allegedly used cocaine and other drugs.

While doctors believe that most of his organs are beginning to function normally, his kidneys are still failing.

"The doctors just don't know the extent of all the damage yet. There are still a lot of tests that need to be done," a source told Us Weekly, adding: "He'll get more of his motor skills back gradually, but cognitively, he's not where he used to be."

Rob, who lived with Khloé and her husband while they were married, is said to be the closest person to Odom after Khloé, and has been reportedly “instrumental” in Odom’s recovery. After the couple split, Rob was reportedly dealing with depression besides other personal issues. Last week, the couple decided to dismiss their divorce.

Khloé has reportedly not left Odom’s side since the incident, except when she attended her sister Kim’s baby shower over the weekend. On Monday, she posted a message thanking her fans for supporting Odom.

"Thank you dolls SO much for your patience while I needed some time off," Khloé wrote on her website, adding: "I'm excited to be back in the mix bringing you some awesome content. Your love and support has meant the world to me. XOXO, Khloe."
