This week marks a special time for Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jaurgeui. The “Down” singer will celebrate a milestone year when she rings in her 21st birthday Tuesday. Although she may be young, the songstress has had an eventful career and an interesting love life. With the singer most recently romantically linked to a popular rapper, it begs the question: does she plan to spend her birthday with a special someone?

The latest romance rumors surrounding Jauregui have alleged that the singer’s boyfriend is Ty Dolla $ign. The two first worked together during Fifth Harmony’s collaboration with the rapper for their hit single “Work From Home.”

Although the singer has not publicly acknowledged rumors of the romance, the two spent the rapper’s 32nd birthday together. The “Or Nah” artist documented the special night on his Instagram account, sharing a group photo which featured himself standing behind Jauregui as she posed next to his mother.

Almost two months later, on June 7, the two posted similar Instagram stories, both featuring Jauregui’s dog, Leo. In their post, shared an hour apart both artists shared an image of the dog sleeping on the couch. However, since that post, the two have not shared anything else on social media linking them together.

Prior to her alleged romance with Ty Dolla $ign, Jauregui addressed dating rumors that have been plaguing her and former Fifth Harmony band member, Camila Cabello. In March, the singer responded to a fan’s tweet stating that Jauregui “hates Camren,” the couple name fans gave the two singers.

“No I hate it because it’s invasive, scary, delusional, disrespectful to us both and was never real...Ever,” she tweeted.

“You never quite become ok with people sexualizing you and your friendships for their sick pleasure. That’s why,” she added.

Rumors first began to surface that Jauregui may be bisexual in November 2016, when photos of the singer kissing Lucy Vives surfaced. Shortly after the photos began to circulate online, Jauregui confirmed the speculation while penning an open letter to Donald Trump as a response to his immigrant ban.

“I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it. I am proud to be part of a community that only projects love and education and the support of one another,” she wrote in her letter.

Following her confirmation about her sexuality, it was later revealed that Jauregui dated Vives off and on for several years. Prior to their split, the singer and her ex-girlfriend posed for an editorial called “Bare With Me” shot by photographer Nicole Cartolano in November. In March, Cartolano opened up about the “coming out” shoot to MTV.

“You could tell that they’ve been best friends for a very long time. They’ve known each other since high school. And they dated on and off for a few years. So they’re good friends over everything else,” the photographer said.

Although Cartolano noted that the ladies were no longer together, she explained that they still wanted to release the photos. “They agreed, and Lauren said this: that it’s a reminder of a really good moment in time. Because at the time, they did really like each other. And it was a very good memory,” the photographer explained.

Even though Jauregui may not have a lot of consistency when it comes to dating, it’s clear that as the singer heads into her 21st year of life, she easily connect with others and has no problem in the romance department.
