Will Brandon Routh and Matt Ryan be sharing a lot of screen time in the midseason premiere of “Legends of Tomorrow”?

Speaking at the “Black Lightning” world premiere last weekend, Routh told ComicBook.com that he didn’t have a lot of scenes with Ryan in Season 3, episode 10 of the CW series. But the “Superman Returns” actor revealed that he and the Welsh actor have a “fun little scene” at the end of the hour.

“We don’t have a ton of interaction but we do have that [moment in the last part of the episode],” Routh said of what fans can expect from his character Ray Palmer and Ryan’s John Constantine. “[But] it would be fun to have a bigger exploration of their two characters [in the future]. I think Ray is interested in the supernatural aspect, something he doesn’t understand. He’s not totally closed off to it just because he’s a scientist. I think he’s intrigued by everything — and Ray always does well with characters who are opposites to him, like Mick (Dominic Purcell). I think John is a lot kinder than Mick, at least on the surface.”

In an interview with Collider last December, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, who plays Amaya on the series, said that Constantine’s arrival on the show “shakes everyone up.” “He’s such a different kind of male presence than we’ve had on the show in any other episodes” Richardson-Sellers said of the occult detective. “Constantine has a quite a fun dynamic with Nate (Nick Zano). Nate gets a little bit jealous. So, I think just Constantine’s ballsy sort of energy and his skills that he has, Amaya definitely admires that, and loves the fact that he’s so gung-ho about everything. She looks up to him, definitely.”

The CW has yet to release the synopsis for Season 3, episode 10, but the trailer for the hour shows Constantine performing what appears to be a very dangerous exorcism. Apart from the exorcism, executive producer Phil Klemmer told The Hollywood Reporter last October that Constantine’s appearance in the episode involves a lot of other exciting things.

“Constantine’s appearance in episode 10 will involve the following: a revisiting of ‘Arrow’ Season 4 and the events following that season’s finale episode; a confrontation with this season’s Big Bad on ‘Legends’; some hot sex; and Damien Darhk (Neil McDonough), because how can you do an episode about dark magic and not have Damien Darhk?” Klemmer said.

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3, episode 10, titled “Daddy Darkhest,” airs on Monday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
