Nate (Nick Zano) is going to have hard time dealing with his newly acquired superpowers in upcoming episodes of “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2.

During a Q&A session following a screening of last night’s episode, titled “The Justice Society of America,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that Nate’s journey to becoming a full-fledged superhero won’t be easy. In fact, Guggenheim said (via Collider) that next week’s episode, titled “Shogun,” “shows how difficult it is for Nate to get his powers under control” due to its unpredictable nature.

Although Nate was introduced as a non-superhero character on the “Arrow” — “The Flash” offshoot, the serum from the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) that was injected into him at the end of last night’s episode gave him superpowers. While it’s unclear what these superpowers are, the trailer for Season 2, episode 3 shows that Nate’s skin, bone and muscle tissue have seemingly been transmuted into organic steel, just like what happened to his comic book counterpart who became known as Citizen Steel.

Guggenheim said that Nate’s introduction as a non-superhero character gives them an opportunity to tell a lot of different stories.

“One of the reasons why we wanted to bring the character of Nate into the show was that we wanted to play with something that ‘The Flash’ got the chance to really play with in Season 1, which is the fun of telling an origin story for a hero,” the exec producer explained. “In the evolution of a hero, there are all these fun seminal moments that we wanted to put our own ‘Legends’ spin on. Part of that is discovering you have powers, part of it is learning how to control those powers, and part of it is the first time you go out in costume, part of it is the first time you fail, and part of it is the first time you realize you have a weakness ... You can safely assume the reason we brought in Nate was so that we could tell those kinds of stories.”

While the CW has yet to release an official photo showing Nate in his superhero costume, Zano’s co-star Dominic Purcell unintentionally gave fans a glimpse of Nate’s superhero look in an Instagram post he shared six days ago. See the photo below:

“Legends of Tomorrow’s” next episode airs on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Check out the synopsis and trailer for the episode below:

“Nate is shocked to learn that he has powers but then accidentally lands himself and Ray (Brandon Routh) in Feudal Japan. After Sara (Caity Lotz) convinces their stowaway Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), AKA Vixen, that Rory (Dominic Purcell) is not a murderer, they all agree to find Nate and help him master his powers in order to defend the Japanese village from the Shogun and his army of samurai warriors. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber) stay back to help fix the ship and find a secret compartment but decide not to tell the rest of the team what they learn.”
