It seems that Johnathon Schaech’s return to “Legends of Tomorrow” is something that fans should look forward to.

In response to a fan tweet, expressing excitement over Schaech’s return to the CW series, the 47-year-old actor gave a little tease about his comeback episode, titled “Outlaw Country.” “It’s a good action back episode,” the 47-year-old actor wrote.

Schaech, who is reprising his role as Jonah Hex, officially confirmed his return to the “Arrow” — “The Flash” offshoot on Friday, Sept. 9, with a photo of him holding a Season 2 script.

“Look who's officially coming back!!! We're gonna kick some serious ass! #JonahHex #LegendsOfTomorrow,” he tweeted, alongside the pic.

As seen in the first page of the script, Cherrie Nowlan is directing the episode written by Matthew Maala and Chris Fedak. The episode is scheduled to be filmed from Sept. 15 to 26.

The exact episode number of Schaech’s comeback is not seen in the cover page of the script, but it appears that it’s Episode 6, as the cast and crew are scheduled to wrap shooting Episode 5 (“Compromised”) on Sept. 14.

Schaech made his debut appearance as Hex in Season 1, Episode 11 (“The Magnificent Seven”) of the series. His portrayal of the iconic DC Comics character was lauded by critics and fans alike, so his Season 2 return isn’t really a big surprise.

“He's terrific. Jonathan is an amazing Jonah Hex,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Den of Geek last April. “I would say [that it’s] very, very faithful to the comics incarnation with a touch [of] more sass, a little bit more attitude.”

Guggenheim went on to praise Schaech as well as his scenes with his co-star Arthur Darvill, who plays Rip Hunter on the series.

“He’s great and watching his interactions with Rip are gold,” said the exec producer. “They're just so much fun. Jonathan and Arthur make a great team.”
