Courtney Ford is set to recur in Season 3 of CW’s “Legends of Tomorrow.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, Ford has been cast as Damien Darhk’s (Neal McDonough) daughter, Eleanor. Described as an all grown up Wednesday Addams, Eleanor is smart and cunning with a charming dose of otherworldly creepiness. Although she looks innocent, her purity is nothing but an act because she’s actually a dangerous woman with an uncanny ability to manipulate others.

Ford is the real-life wife of Brandon Routh, who plays Ray Palmer on the series. Interestingly enough, despite Eleanor’s evil ways, Ray will have an unexplainable attraction to her.

Ford, who is best known for her role as Christine Hill on Showtime’s “Dexter,” is the latest addition to the growing list of newcomers in Season 3 of “Legends of Tomorrow. Other previously announced new cast members include Tala Ashe (“American Odyssey”) as Muslim hacktivist Zari Adrianna Tomaz, Billy Zane (“Titanic”) as iconic showman P.T. Barnum, Tracy Ifeachor (“The Originals”) as Amaya’s (Maisie Richardson-Seller) granddaughter Kuasa, Jes Macallan (“Mistresses”) as Time Bureau special agent Ava Sharpe, Simon Merrells (“Spartacus”) as Julius Caesar, Susie Abromeit (“Chicago Med”) as Ray’s mother, and Richardson-Sellers’ real-life mom, Joy Richardson (“Holby City”), as a mysterious woman from Amaya’s past.

Ford will make her first appearance as Eleanor in Season 3, episode 5.

As previously announced, Damien is returning as a series regular for Season 3 of “Legends of Tomorrow.” Damien, who appeared in nine episodes of Season 2, was the first one to be recruited by Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) to help him locate the pieces of the Spear of Destiny. But after successfully de-powering the spear and erasing Eobard from existence in the Season 2 finale, Sara wiped Damien’s memory and returned him to Miami 1984.

“We’ve come up with a way that he can come [back] into our show,” Klemmer told Cinema Blend of Damien’s return. “You know he was kind of glib and a lighter version of himself last season. [So] we want to give him some real teeth and a real sort of sinister presence, and then we want to slowly build out his dark alliance [next season].”

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
