Lena Dunham’s latest video for the Obama campaign has caused plenty of uproar from the right, but one Minnesota Republican has stated that not only is the video inappropriate, but that it is also the personal work of the dark lord himself, Satan.

“Your First Time” compares the first time a young woman enters a voting booth with the first time she has sex. Dunham says that a women needs to spend her first time with the might man, President Barack Obama.

“Your first time shouldn't be with just anybody,” Dunham says in the video. “You want to do it with a great guy. It should be with a guy with beautiful … somebody who really cares about and understands women.”

The video, which is certainly less than subtle about its innuendo, has drawn plenty of criticism from Republicans online. One right-wing commenter, however, has made a particularly damning condemnation of the video and Obama.

Kelly Fenton, deputy chair of the Minnesota Republican Party, condemned the “Your First Time” video with a statement that simultaneously accused Dunham, Obama, and Russian President Vladimir Putin of being tools of Satan himself.

“#MyFirstTime ad by #Obama is similar to an ad #Putin did. They must share the same advisor: #Satan #RussianStyleTactics #tcot,” read Fenton’s tweet.

By press time, Fenton appears to have deleted the tweet from her feed, but Buzzfeed captured a screenshot. Fenton has left up a series of retweets by Fox News contributor Steven Crowder. Crowder’s tweets refer to Dunham as “a loose, dependent tomboy.”

“So to Leftists, a gorgeous, self-respecting, Conservative woman is reprehensible. A loose, dependent tomboy however... Ad material?” Crowder wrote.

He then followed up the tweet with ones reading, “Is there anything less Rock and Roll than telling somebody exactly how to vote?” and “You were a girl, now you're a "woman"? Oh, so you pay your own way and believe in personal responsibility?”

All three of Crowder’s anti-Dunham statements were retweeted by Fenton.

So is Lena Dunham’s “Your First Time” video the work of Satan? Probably not, but you can decide for yourself by watching below.
