As expected, parts of VH1’s Season 4 “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” reunion were not pretty -- especially for Margeaux Simms. Those who watched the special and tweeted simultaneously poked fun at the reality star, who is new to the cast, after she shaved her head and wore a bright orange frock.

Some said she resembled a monk:

Others compared her to the character from “Avatar: The Last Airbender:”

A few Twitterati were shocked when Simms called her estranged husband, Nikki London, “baby.”

But Simms wasn’t the only cast member who was criticized. Some Twitter users said London resembled a fictitious character too.

Others referenced London and Simms’ strained relationship. He and Simms were still legally an item when he made his infamous shower rod sex tape with Mimi Faust.

Simms was introduced to the show after Faust made her sex tape, which led some fans to say that the only reason Simms was on television was because of Faust.

Simms is a Canadian-Jamaican artist who moved to the U.S. to pursue a fashion design career and studied at Ryerson Polytechnic University, VH1 wrote on her cast member biography. She created brand moniker "HOFM" (Houseofmargeaux), but later decided to she wanted to make music her career.

When she joined the group Test Drive in 2005, she collaborated with Danja Handz, and The Runners, and DJ Khalid, VH1 said. She later went solo and produced the extended play “Animal House.”

Even though she lived in Brooklyn, Simms moved to Atlanta so she could work on her tumultuous relationship with London. They two consider themselves “soulmates” and work together in both music enterprises and fashion.
