It’s no secret that “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Masika Kalysha and Hazel E despise one another, so it wasn’t much of a surprise when Masika decided to speak up following Hazel’s post shaming dark skinned women on the VH1 cast.

On Thursday, Masika responded to a fan who shared several throwback photos of Hazel, which featured the star having darker skin compared to her current complexion.

“Brown skin and real face still ugly af but she actually looked like an actual female. Self love is so important,” Masika wrote, commenting on the old photos of Hazel.

Masika’s comment comes after Hazel shared a lengthy Instagram post calling out several of her cast mates, including Brooke Valentine, Moniece Slaughter and other stars who she considered dark skinned, and insisted they were jealous of her because of her lighter skin.

“Love the skin you in ladies… it takes a village to take me out, but what ya’ll fail to realize is I’m still on top,” she wrote while stating that the women will never compare to her.

In her rant, Hazel went on to accuse the women of being jealous of her because they “couldn’t pass the brown paper bag test.” The reality star was referring to a type of racial discrimination in which a brown paper bag was used determine whether an individual would be allowed certain privileges. Individuals whose skin color was the same color or lighter than the paper bag were granted accesses to these advantages.

“Sorry mom kept me away from these type of girls all my life, you said they would hate me because I’m light skin...you were right,” she wrote ending her lengthy post.

Not long after Hazel’s rant, a fan tweeted “LHHH” showrunner, Mona Scott Young, asking her to reconsider who she is allowing to appear on the series. “@MonaScottYoung you really need to evaluate who you cast on the show because @hazelebaby is doing nothing but tearing down dark skin women,” the fan wrote.

However, Hazel replied, telling the fans that she was one of the few good cast members on the show. “She’s cast criminals, prostitutes, dead beat mothers, drug abusers and alcoholics, domestic violence abusers,” she tweeted.

Following Hazel’s comments, Moniece was more than willing to share her opinion about her enemy by posting and deleting a close-up photo of the star, while calling her several names and slamming her for talking about other people’s children and motherhood.

In the past, Hazel has shared posts about Masika’s daughter, Khari Barbie Maxwell, and slammed Moniece’s parenting skills, while the women have accused her of being a man and bleaching her skin.

“Ima beat you til you wished there was a bleaching cream strong enough to reverse it,” Moniece wrote. She went on to threaten Hazel, explaining that the attack would be so brutal Hazel’s mother would disown her for being so dark because of the bruising.

Since the response from her cast members, Hazel has remained silent on Twitter and the star has continued to keep her Instagram account on the private setting.
