Although “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 8 has seen a lot of drama, some fans tend to forget that behind the arguments and drink throwing, there are people with feelings who round out the cast of the popular VH1 series.

In a sneak peek of “LHHNY” Season 8, episode 7, Mariahlynn sits down with Remy Ma, to discuss the criticism that she has been receiving regarding her body and how the negative comments have affected her self-esteem.

In the video, Remy tells Mariahlynn that she believes she is a talented artist and has the potential to have a successful career. However, she admits she isn’t crazy about the Gwinin artist’s image.

The “ShETHER” rapper reveals that she thinks Mariahlynn should focusing on pulling off a Hollywood glam inspired look, rather than wearing multicolored wigs and outrageous hairstyles.

Mariahlynn then explains that she has been receiving a lot of hate on social media over the shape of her body. The “Once Upon A Time” rapper reveals that people have said so many negative things about the size of her chest and rear end, that she is ready to have plastic surgery.

Empathizing with her, Remy then tells Mariahlynn that she has also been criticized for the way she looks, but is determined to ignore her haters and feel comfortable in her own skin.

Following her encouraging words, the conversation takes a humorous turn when Mariahlynn flashes her chest to Remy, revealing that she is still considering getting breast implants.

Despite Mariahlynn’s insecurities, Remy insists that she thinks the rapper looks fine the way she is, but admits she would support her if plastic surgery was something she truly wanted.

Remy explains that Mariahlynn should only get plastic surgery if it will make her happy, rather than trying to appease complete strangers.

By the end of their conversation, Mariahlynn realizes that she needs to think about what she will do when it comes to her body, and declares that whatever decision she makes, it will be based on her happiness.
